Joan At Race Across The West

2011 saw me join Randonneurs USA (RUSA) and complete a Super Randonneur series for the first time. Highlights included riding through the night with friends on the San Francisco Randonneurs (SFR) Fort Bragg 600k in May.

It was also a breakout year in the sense that it was when I first realized that RAAM just might be within reach. I became the first woman to complete Race Across The West and had an amazing time racing from Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO.
